I am currently watching Sky News... they are only sourcing from TMZ, as is every other site and news channel. I wouldn't be surprised if it was true, and I'd be desperately sad, but let's just wait for some actual confirmation.

Yes, by TMZ who are about as reliable as Perez Hilton! You can't believe a person is dead until their family confirm it.

CNN said he was dead, then changed their minds and said he was alive, haha brilliant!

While I really couldn't care less and won't mourn his death at all, the problem with this is that so far, the only source for the "confirmation" of his death is TMZ. Even the news sources we believe to be reliable are getting their information from TMZ. So it really hasn't been confirmed by a RELIABLE news source. Even Jackson's associates haven't confirmed anything. So until his family or a TRULY close friend (did he really have any close friends?) confirms to someone other than a reporter at TMZ that Jackson has died, I'm not going to believe it to be anything more than a publicity stunt.

That would make sense. They'll probably put him on a ventilator, cool him overnight then scan his brain in the morning... find he has little brain left from the prolonged lack of oxygen to it, and turn him off. That's what usually happens with this sort of thing.

I think if he was already dead, it would have been confirmed by now. But I expect by tomorrow evening it will be.

Putting him on a ventilator though when there was no pulse would be pointless really. Yan'no? They'd have to put him on machines to have his heart beating for him too.
