GOSH, DOES BOTOX HELP WITH CP? I KNOW IT'S USED IN STROKE PATIENTS, BUT I NEVER KNEW IT WAS USED IN CP, YO. I GUESS IT MAKES SENSE THOUGH.

GOSH, I AM SO NOSY - I AM ALWAYS FASCINATED BY WHAT PEOPLE HAVE WRONG WITH THEIR BODS. I ALSO HAVE BAD BALANCE AND COORDINATION, BUT I IMAGINE MINE IS SOME KIND OF DYSPRAXIA TYPE THING, AND ALSO POOR VISUAL INTEGRATION - LIKE I DON'T HAVE GOOD DEPTH PERCEPTION, AND SO I AM TOTALLY ALWAYS BUMPING INTO THINGS BECAUSE I DON'T REALISE THEY ARE SO CLOSE TO ME!

I have CP as well. A mild case, never had to have botox shots. I have had to have 3 surgeries though.

In some cases it does. In mine they noticed little difference but because the procedure was so new they kept trying in different muscles to see if just maybe it would work.
They would do the injection, make me wait a week and cast me for 6 weeks. After the 6 weeks was up i would go through a week of PT and then do it again in a different section of my legs.
My depth perception is AWFUL. Right now i have a huge bruise on my shoulder because i misjudged the distance of the door frame & crash right into. It knocked the breath out of me.
I do that about 30 times a day. Its nuts.

DOES CP CAUSE LACK OF DEPTH PERCEPTION? I WONDER IF IT'S A COMMON PART OF A VARIETY OF NEUROLOGICAL ANOMALIES.

Let's see, what's wrong with my body:

Near-sighted.
Right leg is slightly longer than left.
Turf toe in my right foot.
Uncontrollable flatulence.
Oh, and I still have too much body fat.

GOSH, WHAT IS A TURF TOE? I WONDER IF I HAVE ONE OF THESE. I CERTAINLY HAVE UNCONTROLLABLE FLATULENCE - IF A FART WISHES TO COME OUT, I CAN'T STOP IT. GOSH, THEY ARE SUCH NAUGHTY LITTLE BUGGERS!

Turf toe is a common recurrent injury from running -- basically the toe hyperextends at some point, and it feels the same way a "jammed finger" does but in the toe, and really doesn't have a cure. It's most common in American football players, thus the name "turf toe."

It's obnoxious, but not as bad as some of the other acute injuries I've had.

AH, I SEE. I DO NOT HAVE THAT, AS I DO NOT DO INTENSE SPORTS AND MY TOES HAVE NEVER HYPEREXTENDED. IF ANYTHING MY TOES ARE SQUISHED IN TOO MUCH FROM SHOES THAT ARE TOO NARROW.

I injured it initially doing MMA, but now it's aggravated by running (which I do 6 days a week), but in order for it to fully heal, I have to sit on my ass for a couple of weeks, which I'm unwilling to do, so I just bite down and grit my teeth through it. It's a pain sometimes, but it gets better over time.

GOSH, YO - FOR A MOMENT I THOUGHT 'VASOVAGAL' MUST BE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE VAGINA, AND WAS TOTALLY WONDERING HOW YOU COULD GET IT! ;D YOU MEAN HYPOTENSION, YO? I GET POSTURAL HYPOTENSION - IF I STAND UP SUDDENLY I BLACK OUT AND HAVE TO SIT DOWN AGAIN OR LEAN AGAINST THE WALL. GOSH, IT IS SO FUN TO COMPARE ONE'S BODILY ANOMOLIES! ;D

IS THAT AN ILLNESS, YO? TO HAVE LONG NAIL BEDS? HOW LONG ARE THEY? GOSH, I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THIS AS AN ILLNESS - I'VE SEEN PEOPLE WITH A VARIETY OF LENGTHS OF NAIL BED. MINE ARE QUITE LONG - AND LONGER ON MY RIGHT HAND THAN ON MY LEFT HAND. I TOTALLY NOTICE SUCH THINGS AND PUT MY NAILS AGAINST EACH OTHER TO COMPARE!
