Universal health care hasn't been mentioned. In Canada you never have to worry about getting sick or going to the doctor its all paid for. No one is turned away. If for no other reason I would never move to another country that doesn't have free health care (well free in that you don't get a bill! we pay for it through taxes).

We also have one of the best social services systems in the world. And even though our 'social safety net' has had some big holes created the last few years it is still significantly better then most if not all others.

I have; however, found that we have lost a lot of our mannerisms in Canada. Historically manners where important but that has changed a lot with media exposures.

And we do have better weed.... and it’s more accepted people here don’t freak out about smoking up like they do in the states.

YES! Someone mentions the weed ;D lol :P I agree though, I enjoy getting free health care. I mean, I live on my own now, and if I got billed for every time I went to the clinic.. Eegads boy. Oh! Canada! :)

I keep telling people not to get all paranoid about smoking weed in public. The cops won't bust you for smoking a joint. The most they'll do is confiscate what you have, so just don't carry your entire stash around town!

Haha the first time I had it I thought my arteries were going to be clogged indefinitely. And then I grew that tough shell that allowed me to ingest all the poutine I wanted. There's this place in Kingston, called Bubba's, that makes the best poutine known to man. But yes, it is overrated.

I've never been to Canada, in secondary school a girl in English moved to Calgary and she used to send the class photo's of where she lived, the country side looked really nice.

It is, depending on where you go. I mean, if you go to Toronto it's pretty ugly. I think the best scenery in Canada is on the East Coast, though. It's pretty wicked out there.

All cities are ugly though, unless it is somewhere quite old, like York or Barcelona.

I actually found Vancouver to be very pretty. (Except for East Hastings Street!) The mountain backdrop probably has a lot to do with that, though. The downtown core is really clean, and you feel relatively safe there.
