I'm not really a fan of tattoos, but the design is really good!

I got my tattoo a month after I turned 18. Classic... butterfly. But I like it and I drew it myself.

I plan on getting a cherry blossom branch on the side of my ribs and a cancer ribbon on my left wrist with "Grammie" under it. I can't put "Survivor" over it yet, because there is a small chance it could come back.

I've been looking around for something to cover my side tattoo (see first page - first post). I finally found something I like! I've known I wanted to get some sort of tree but I couldn't find one I liked. Now... I have found...



I like the swirl in the background. It won't cover everything entirely... but maybe I could get my artist to do some other swirls to cover up all the lettering?

Ideas/thoughts/comments are welcomed and appreciated!

Isn't that swirl just the watermark for the website/owner of the pic? I've seen that swirl somewhere before - but it was being used as a watermark so no one 'stole' the photo.

I knew I'd seen it before - and I couldn't let it rest - I had to figure out where I had seen it! www.dreamstime.com use it as their watermark.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's the watermark... but I really like it included in the picture haha

i love the idea of a tree.. it has so many representations. i'm sure they could figure out a way to do different types of swirls or even colorful background in order to cover it up

I searched all over my photobucket and computer but couldn't find the pics i had saved of my tattoo. Its on my back and that's a difficult spot to take a picture of by yourself. This picture is right after I got it finished. Its 2 years old now. Anyway, the butterfly is because I love butterflies and because my grandma did too. She passed away in '97 Blue and purple are my favorite colors. The words above are my children's names; Belle, Pejsatch, and Zeiv. The 11-8 below is mine and my husband's wedding anniversary and also my brother's birthday. He passed away in '98 I still love it. I dind't expect it to be this big but I dont'mind it actually and don't regret it. My husband doesn't like tattooes and nearly divorced me over this one. I want another one but its not worth the fight to be honest with you all.

The first tat is one I got in memory of our angel baby that I miscarried. My artist free-handed it in about 10 minutes.
The 2nd is the tat I got to represent my kids. (the stars) I have to add a fourth star for my 4th baby that was born in December. :) It was a spur of the moment, "hey.. lets get a tat!" type of thing, LOL.

I want a total of 3 tats. So far none but hoping to get the one for my grandma before this year is out. That one with be on my shoulder which will have a forget me not flower & daffodil that has a pink ribbon around it with Grandma written on it. She passed away from breast cancer & she was my best friend. I always feel like she is by my side. Especially in bad times I always get a chill on my right side so I'm going to get it on my right shoulder blade. These are the pictures I'm going to take in when i get it done (sorry they are so big)

Then my 2nd one i want on my ankle that wraps around saying "Trust, Respect, Love, Honesty, Truth" which are words I try to live by. Be trust worthy to your friends & family, Respect yourself & others, Love yourself, be honest with those you love & yourself, be truthful always.

The 3rd one I want is musical note(s) because for me music has always been there to relax me & calm me down when things get difficult or stressful. Here's what im thinking of(since im not sure what yet thats why its my 3rd one). Im thinkin of gettin on my left wrist

Obviously, a duck, that I got when I was 17 to symbolize my now husband (then fiance), as my nickname from him has always been Duck/Duckie/Big Duck/Baby Duck/Crazy Duck and well, you get the point :P.

My husband and I are in the process of designing a tattoo that will go on the inside of our wrists to get matching on our one year wedding anniversary in late July. Not each others names or anything, likely a whispy design with our initials (and L, J, and P), but we're still in the decision-making point there.

I love the bird. That will be a really nice tattoo.

I dont have a picture of the one on my left shoulder blade, which is a bluejay (has meaning), but here is my newest tattoo...Its the symbols for Karma (the cause and effect)

LOL! Naa, I think tons of people try to use that image code. In these forums you have to use:
