Most of the time, fat people know they're fat, and they rarely state it in a humorous manner because, well, it's depressing.

There are some people comfortable in their fatness, but most are unhappy with it. I for one, have made fun of my own fatness, but only as a motivational tool, because regardless of personality, it still hurts being called fat, no matter who says it, even oneself. I pick on myself as a way to motivate myself, and while I'm not quite as fat as I used to be, I still consider myself fat.

i do the same thing. i rather people not openly call me fat though. i already know, i don't need anyone to tell me.
how could people be comfortable knowing they are so unhealthy? blah.
