Here is my answers! :) Attached Entry: 1,239 Year in Review Challenge Year in Review Challenge I usually do a Year in Review at the end of the year. I'd go through all my entries for the year and write down key things in each month but since I didn't really write all 12 months this year, I decided to do things differently. I posted this challenge in Team Bloop and on the Discussion Forums in the Forum Games subtopic. I hope you guys do it, too! Write an entry and answer these questions: 1. What was the best thing that happened to you personally in 2020? I got to change position at work to a less stressful one. We got a new registrar and she's really nice and really smart. 2. What was the worst thing that happened to you personally in 2020? my coworker died at the beginning of lockdown. Not Covid related. We tried to look for a condo to buy but everyone wants 20 - 25% down payment so we can't afford to buy. We are now month-to-month and paying a fortune. We don't know what to do because the rent is crazy and no one is moving. We are having a war with downstairs neighbors. They bang on our floors/their ceiling for every noise they hear which isn't coming from our apartment. The cops are at our door all the time. It's maddening. 3. List all the books you read this year: I just finished my 24th book (read in order) Nine Perfect Strangers by Liane Moriarty The Lost Girls of Paris by Pam Jenoff The Librarian of Auschwitz by Antonio Iturbe A Frenzy of Sparks by Kristin Fields The Stranger by Harlan Coben You (You #1) by Caroline Kepnes Ready Player One (Ready Player One # 1) by Ernest Cline The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins Verity by Colleen Hoover The Marriage Betrayal by Shalini Boland The Shining by Stephen King The Magicians (The Magicians # 1) by Lev Grossman (DNF) The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas The Little Paris Bookshop by Nina George Never Never Part 1 by Colleen Hoover Outlander (Outlander # 1) by Diana Gabaldon Never Never Part 2 by Colleen Hoover Never Never Part 3 by Colleen Hoover I'll Take You There by Wally Lamb (DNF) Dragonfly in Amber (Outlander # 2) by Diana Gabaldon The Alice Network by Kate Quinn The Circle by Dave Eggers Hidden Bodies (You # 2) by Caroline Kepnes Ready Player Two (Ready Player One # 2) by Ernest Cline 4. Because of Covid-19 I discovered/re-discovered: reading! I stopped reading for a long time and I got so bored I picked it up again! 5. I hope 2021 will be..... the last time I hoped something for a new year we got a pandemic and murder hornets. I just hope 2021 doesn't bring murderous hedgehogs and flying pigs 6. List the movies I watched this year: nothing new but my mother-in-law paid for 1 month of Disney plus just so we can watch Hamilton! I ended up watching it twice! All other movies were just movies I've seen before. Watched the hell out of Netflix. 7. I celebrated the holidays this year differently by: Zoom called our Christmas Eve crew. Thanksgiving was the same because its usually just MIL, Marcin, and I. 8. Some good things that happened this year for me was: rediscovering my love of reading, walked more, spent more time with Marcin, and my family is doing well. Uncle, Aunt, and mother all had Covid and now doing well. |

**There is a real update one entry back that is only a few days old)
Greta Garbage put together this survey. I shortened it by 2 as I don’t read books or watch movies. So, here we go.
What was the best thing that happened to you personally in 2020? My dear friend Zach passed away. He was only 26. He took his own life. RIP My Parents having difficulty. Putting a lot of pressure and stress on me, causing anxiety and frustration. I didn’t get to go to a baseball game. I had to uncross off a stadium that I had tickets to attend. My dream concert that I spent a LOT of money on tickets (Bon Jovi and Bryan Adams on the same night) got canceled. I lost my job and the “friends” I made there. But most of all, I can’t hang out with my friends and my annual TX trip was canceled so I don’t get to hang out with my bestie and be silly and have fun. And hugs, I miss hugs. 3. Because of Covid-19 I discovered/re-discovered: This doesn’t answer the question but it still sorta fits, I spent a lot of time going through all my poems. Putting them in chronological order and numbering them and putting together a table of contents. It’s almost complete. Plus, I ran on my treadmill most days in 2020. It was more out of boredom. Or that’s what I tell people. How much I love and need baseball. When we weren’t sure if we would have baseball here, ESPN broadcasted games from Korea live. The game would start at 5:25 AM. I would be up before that and I got into quite a schedule. I was excited for it. The play wasn’t as good as MLB and I didn’t know any of the players but eventually I would know them. Then when MLB came back, I let the Korean games go but since Korea was playing an entire season, I went back to the Korean games till they were over in mid-November. I love baseball and baseball loves me. 4. I hope 2021 will be..... MY YEAR! A job, find my soulmate, cross off another stadium. Ok, so nothing new there. As long as everyone I know is happy and relatively healthy, I’m good. 5. I celebrated the holidays this year differently by: Except for our Chanukkah party was just my family, nothing else was really that different. We did do a few nights of zooming with my sibs which was pretty cool as we all said the blessings together from 3 different cities. 6. Some good things that happened this year for me was: I’m not that sure. I did get to visit Florida the first week of March and hang out with two separate friends. Went to a spring training game, a hockey game, and other fun activities. While I was there I made it a point to visit my G.D Mother. That was very nice.
