My brother and I spent like an hour begging my dad to not make us put up the christmas tree this year.

Exactly! My dad pretty much just asks me flat out what I want and he'll go get it or give me the money and just say its for christmas.
Like this year he got me an uh-maaaazing down comforter for my bed (a godsend, my room gets SO cold cuz its in the basement.) and a ton of books ;D

He knows me so well its almost scary.
