I've had to go Friends Only. I didn't want to, but someone I thought was a friend went on Friends Only and didn't include me on her list. I thought OK, WHATEVER.

My diary is set to "deny access to users if I cannot access their diary," and yet she still kept viewing. Is there a glitch to the system? Or was she just being a loser and adding me to her Friends List just to view my entries then taking me off again? WHO does that?

I know I should have just blocked her, but I didn't want to give that silly bitch the satisfaction of knowing she'd bothered me enough to block her personally.

So yeah I've gone FO, and she's not going to know this is me because I've logged in on my personal diary to post this. I was just wondering if there was something up with the "Deny access to users if I cannot access their diary" feature, or if my supposed friend was just being a retard.

But whilst on the subject, what is the most loserish thing someone has done to you on Bloop? It could make for a fun read :):):)

It's a known bug right now that's been rearing its head on-and-off for the past month or so now.

People do loser-ish stuff all the time on my diary, but I can't think of anything in particular on this particular version of Bloop.

Going back a few years, though, there was this guy named Danny who took this girl named Darenda way, way too seriously. Now, Darenda wasn't ever really too bright. But he really took offense to her, and there was this humongous stink between the two. Well one day, he decided it would be funny to dig up her personal information and post it all over his diary, knowing full well that she was a minor (15 or 16 at the time) and he was in his late 30s. Of course, at the time, everyone thought they were a lawyer.

Darenda was telling everyone that Danny molested his daughter (false, btw), while Danny was posting the personal information of a minor on his public diary.

That's pretty much the most twisted thing I can think of that happened on this site, but it's really cleaned up since then.

I also think this situation is what caused a major reform in how diary privacy works. Can Steve verify?

Yeah...his diary name was Angel...or Vampire With Soul. Hes in jail now I believe for grooming an underage child. He had a lot of people duped, including me.

Not that I know of. I know there was this chick who spread a vicious rumor that this guy was molesting his daughter...

From what I remember he assisted the Police in their investigation in to this guy. Pagan could prolly tell you a lot more than I could though. I know it hurt her and others a lot. Many people had NO idea.

Was the rumour about Danny molesting his daughter? I won't lie, I always found Danny odd and he was very interested in teenage girls and acted VERY inappropriate towards them... but I don't think he would ever had hurt his daughter.

That was it. Some underaged bitch decided to libel the poor guy because she was, you know, an underaged bitch. Then he pretty much snapped and posted her personal information. It was petty bitch fight that crossed like 19 lines.

Oh definitely. And whilst she crossed a line, she probably had the whole 'young and stupid' thing going. But he should have known WAY better. I do recall him coming back for a while with a lot of criticism. Wasn't a happy 'welcome back' that is for sure. Bloopers just aren't the forgiving type!

IIRC he seemed genuinely regretful, and just blocked everyone who decided to go out of their way to harass him when he came back. It wasn't a problem before there were forum threads and entries with his name all over the front page. He pretty much said, "Fuck it," and quit.

He was still kind of a douche though. Like, it was kind of hard to talk to the guy; it was like walking one eggshells.

There is another chick who was like that, and she was a staff member. Not naming her, but that chick was a demon. She raised tickets TO people that have been reported, swearing and berating them. Multiple times.

I remember having to personally IM doc about him posting all her info. It was seriously fucked =/

Yeah, Steve went to court and everything. He did end up in jail on like 50 counts of child pornography alone.

This was years ago..he was an English guy but I cant recall his name..his ACTUAL name. I know he went through a trial and went to jail,maybe four years ago now? made this massive fake persona up ans really sucked people in myself included.

The worst thing someone has said to me on Bloop is calling my child a bastard. I mean it was totally un-called for & unprovoked. It was pretty much like this: "Oh I see you are not legally married to the father of your child. You know your daughter is a bastard, right?"

Well I guess in the technical definition of the word, that would be correct. But it's modern definition has changed, and the person who said that was a royal dick. :(

Agreed. I mean the word "bastard" does mean a child born out of wedlock...but it has become a way to insult someone. And what made it worse was that it was just completely random. But I blocked her & went on.

Shame. Could have made a good drama if that went public. We could have made her delete her diary. :(

I've had several people I never even spoke to block me simply because I became a staff member.

I've also had people steal my artwork (NOT just the HTML part, but the image part xD).

You should just block them, instead of relying on the 'deny access' feature. Blocking is a surefire way to ensure they can't view.

Hmmm - mine is half and half fo and members only because the fo - I don't need bullshit (or drama) id say the dumb ones are the ones who went in read and gets mad or leave nasty comments - it makes no sense if they hate going on to my diary why go? I don't normally block people but there's a few bad apples I just gotta

I'm on deny access to users if I can't access their diary, there is someone though who un-blocks me, reads my entry and then quickly blocks me again, she almost always replies to me in the forums as well, I pretty much always ignore her though. It doesn't bother me that she reads my entries, I don't particularly want to read hers, I would block her, but I'm not that childish.

I judge them all, each and every time they unblock me and stop by. Why bother going through such an orchestrated routine to view my silly entries? They should just stop guarding their stupid diaries like there's anything interesting or important written in there and get themselves some lives! ;D
