What kind of camera do you use?
Do you like it?
About how much did you pay for it?
Can you show me a picture you've taken with the camera?

I really need a new camera.

it is a 10 mega pixel camera for $150 which is pretty reasonable with great results.

I use a Nikon D60.
I love it... it is the best thing I ever bought.
I paid $1500 for it with a couple of extra accessories.

I also have a little point and shoot Olympus. Never had any problem with that, or the Canon Powershots I had... Paid anything between 300 and 600 for the point and shoots I had. It does the trick.

I'm so jealous, I was just looking at that camera. There's no way I could afford it right now though:(

If you can hold on a while, and save up for a good one.. I'd recommend it. Saving up for what you really want.
You end up happier in the long run I think.

I have a Sony DSC-H9. 8.1MP. I paid somewhere around $500 (Canadian) for it, over two years ago. Certainly not the best camera out there, but it's pretty freaking awesome for the price. I bought it mostly because I couldn't hold off another couple of years for a DSLR.

If you want a simple, point and shoot camera, I have a Kodak V803, which I bought for 160ish last year, but now there are some newer ones for less. I bought my sister a Kodak M863 and it's smaller, lighter, and has a higher megapixel than mine and they're about 100 bucks. Her camera takes pretty awesome pictures. :)Anyway, here's a picture I took with my camera. Hope this works.

I have a canon Ixus80. I love it. The quality is brilliant, and it has cool features like colour accent. I'll upload some pictures later.

I just bought a Nikon D300 but that sounds like its out of your price range. If you want a Dslr with different lens capability I would go with any camera in the Canon Digital Rebel line, for starting out with. Also for point and shoots pretty much any newwer model canon or nikon you cant go wrong with. The nikon coolpix s60 is supposed to be pretty good.

-shudders at nikon users-

I have a canon rebel xti SLR. It was a little over 400 dollars, but if you're into doing some serious photography, you need an SLR camera. (a camera that you can change the lens.) It's good for doing hardcore mega pixel huge shots, but also doing simple myspace shots. The flash isn't blinding, and some of the features, like light sensors, focus, and the burst features are crazy amazing. And it's not complicated unless you want it to be, you can just use the automatic setting and get amazing shots without getting all technical. Just point and shoot and the shot will be awesome.

I think I'm just going to have to suck it & wait until I can afford an SLR, because it seems to be what I want/need & I think I can justify paying around that much for one.

i have that same canon camera, also!
i love it. never a bad picture. the only thing i dont like is that its kinda hard to sneak into concerts or just pick up and put it in my purse.
so, i bought a smaller digital canon camera, i dont know exactly what it is. i can look later. but, its just as great! awesome pictures && it has a video camera on it, too!
