I'm going to be 21. This thread is going to be dedicated to YOU all recommending your favorite (non-beer) alcoholic beverages.

Right now, I'm going to have to go with Smirnoff Green Apple. But I want to sample around. I will also take anything liquor or mixtures into consideration.

cider. i discovered it last year [at 23] if i found that shit at 14 i'd be an alcoholic. at the moment my favourite cider is monteith's crushed apple cider from new zealand. yum.

i also have to drink wine at my job, which is cool. so now i know more and actually like wine. go figure.

@Ev: You have to drink wine at your job? The hell do you work? lol

@chris: i work at a huge liquor chain. we do wine tasting every weekend. i have to spit it out, but means i get to try out different wines, beers, spirits. pretty sweet.

I agree with the Smirnoff. Everyone else I know hates it. Haha.

Also, try Captain Morgan, orange juice, and grenadine. I'm not sure of all the measurements. I kinda just figure it out lol.

Apple Pie. (it is an alcohol drink, and it's super yummy!)

for those who dont know what it is:

its a mix of apple cider, apple juice, and vodka, with cinnamon sticks soaking in it to give it the cinnamon taste.

I love it.

Apple Pies are delish! I had a couple for New Years Eve.

Oh, and we use Everclear here instead of vodka, but I'm sure it's still delish.

we used everclear the first time and it was good, but we went and got some apple vodka and it tasted better.

Apple vodka does sound really good. I'm going to have to try it.

Incredible Hulk. Which is Hennessy and Hypotniq. Snazzy drink. :)

Flaming Dr. Pepper is good too.

I don't drink anymore but my favorite hard liquor is Captain Morgan, private stock -- it tastes sooooo good when mixed with Coke!

I also really like Arbor Mist wine (cheap but sweet and good-tasting).

Mike's Hard Lemonade, Pomegrate (sp?). Smirnoff, Raspberry (I think? It's been so long since I last drank)

Have to agree with Aspiring Boxer on this one. Captain Morgan's Private Stock is smooooooooooth stuff. You can sip it over ice and it is damned good. But even better mixed with coke or pepsi.

I'm boring, but Captain and Coke is good. :-)

Boo to no beer. Vanilla bean oatmeal stout is godly

but anywho crown and coke also malibu coconut rum and spite

-pineapple juice and malibu rum
-redbull and skyy cherry vodka or skyy pineapple vodka
-absolute rubyred and sprite
-skyy cherry vodka and coke
- a sixer of green apple snirnoff(liquid jollyrancher!!)
-bacardi rum runners in fruit punch(idk if thats the name but its the only red one)
- our family favorite named after my BIL *jon anothony's* (skyy cherry vodka, strawberry soda and orange/pineapple punch)

Vodka & Redbull

tom collins... made with gin... my favourite! :)

Wine: Sauvignon blanc, Pinot grigio and pretty much any Rose wine.
Cocktails: Cosmo, French Martini, Woo Woos, piña colada
And in clubs I drink vodka and diet coke.

Oh, and I love sangria, and frozen margaritas!

chris, i strongly advise against the vodka & redbull one, it's a good drink, but it has an extremely dangerous side effect.

care to enlighten those that don't know of this side effect?

@Hockey HQ - depends on the person. Red Bull does nothing to me. I get absolutely nothing from drinking it, so it's fine for me.

I wouldn't drink it in excess, as the citrus...ness cam make your stomach upset but - like I said, depends on the person. *shrugs*
