It fluctuates, per my mood.
I most recently re-read "Rant," but I re-read several books frequently. I own every Palahniuk book, frequently can be caught reading Heinlein's "Starship Troopers" and "Stranger in a Strange Land," and also favor Catch-22. So I really don't quite have a favorite book, but if I had to choose one book to be stuck on an island with, I'd probably go with "Haunted." |

Oh, man. I am awful at picking favorites... so I'll go with my favorite SERIES of books ;).
The "Women's Murder Club" series by James Patterson (1st to Die, 2nd Chance, 3rd Degree, 4th of July, The 5th Horseman, The 6th Target, 7th Heaven, and now The 8th Confession) The "Prey" novels by John Sanford (there are currently 18 (I think, I could be wrong) written from 1989 to 2008 Harry Potter Twilight Nicholas Sparks books (specifically the cliche ones that make me cry like The Notebook, A Walk to Remember, A Bend in the Road, Nights in Rodanthe, The Guardian, The Wedding....) |

It scared the bloody crap out of me.
The movie was fine, but the book itself made me utterly terrified of clowns. ha. Amazingly written book though. |

OOOOH! Where to begin?!
I LOVE The Vampire Lestat by Anne Rice. She just conjures up such beautiful images. Harry Potter series. Adrian Mole series - definitely worth a read. The first few books really reminded me of how dramatic I and my friends were when we were 13! The Other Boleyn Girl - even though it's very historically inaccurate, I still love it. 1984 - just brilliant. But overall, I'm not a big fan of fiction. My fave non fiction books are 'The World According To Clarkson' series by Jeremy Clarkson which is just a compilation of his columns from The Times. Comedy gold!! |

My favorite childhood book was Chicken Soup with Rice by Maurice Sendak. I think Where The Wild Things Are is overrated. lol. I re-read these books constantly: She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb and I'm With The Band: Confessions of a Groupie by Pamela DesBarres.

Same as I mentioned in a previous thread: Their Eyes Were Watching God, by Zora Neale Hurston. If I had to pick one, that's it.
Of course, there's also Harry Potter (books 3 and 6 are my favorites). My favorite children's book is Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech. I still have my original copy from 5th grade. |
