On Tuesday, a 'beloved character' on Glee is going to kick the bucket! Who do you think it's going to be?

I think it's either Becky or her mom, since they recently cast her mom and a pastor.

Oh, Becky! I like her, but I could see them killing her off just because she's a background character.

I thought Becky's mother, but she doesn't actually appear in the Funeral episode - she must be appearing in an episode after that.

Quinn's mother will be in the episode though, so maybe she dies.

Seems like two people are going to die - a loved one of a character and also a regular young character. So maybe Santana too. Unless it's Becky, and she counts as both Sue's 'loved one' and a regular young character.

I want it to be Rachel or Quinn, but I know it's not going to be because those actresses are the ones making the big bucks!
I hope it's not Dave or Santana (like a suicide thing?) because both of them have a long way to go with their storylines.

i thought it might be kurts dad, since he was so close before, i also thought it might a karoffski suicide...... but i can see them killing becky off, although it would be sad.

I've read that it's a female character, and I was reading everyones responses as well. I think the best theories right now are: Becky (which would be SO freaking sad, seriously) OR one that I found really interesting, Rachel's mom and Quinn's baby's adoptive mom - Shelby. It would be devastating to Rachel. Or even Quinn's mom, I didn't even think of that one. I don't know, I guess we'll see. All I know is that word of mouth says it's going to be a female character.

OH.... Terri! Oh my gosh! That would be an interesting one. I bet Will would get super guilty or whatever.

I will be totally bummed if they kill of Becky though. She's like the best character on the show.

Watching it now. What an anticlimax! I was hoping it would be a major character!

It was so sad, but so useless. I mean, Sue's character's already a horrible human being, it just seems like the writers have a bad day and take it out on her.

Did you catch up and watch all the episodes beforehand?? Or did you just skip to this one? ;D

And yes, I thought it was unnecessarily cruel to poor Sue, alas (I totally have a soft spot for Sue!)! But I've noticed the writers do revel in being cruel to their characters! They give each character a weak spot and then totally rip at it.

I have a feeling that probably they're going to come back to this at some point. I mean, everything else they've done has had a reason (like that tiny little hint about Santana/Brittany in season one..... that's come back full force) so maybe they killed off Sue's sister, and there's going to be something else that has to do with it in Season 2. Maybe Sue's going to have a complete personality change, and they're going to have to deal with that.
I dunno, I guess I don't think it was as useless and as unnecessary as everyone seems to think. I thought it was a very well done episode. The part that seemed weird to me was the Will/Terri thing. Like, why did she just suddenly leave? It seemed random.

So it was just Jean that died? That's sad. She may have not had a major role in the show, but I loved when she had a scene or two.
