Are there any bloopers who are into couponing? If so, where do you get your coupons?

go to tlc.com and look for the extreme coupon show, within that it links a page to
10 Best Web Sites to Save You Money read that and then the comments after that, thats how i got all the coupon sites and their are alot of them. I also am a memeber on facebook so i get to join companys fb page and get free stuff (just to name some things ive gotten... free tide coupon for cottenelle toilet wipes, yogart, tide stain release pouches, scotts papertowels, swiffer duster....). Also freebforfriends.com or on fb. I like http://thekrazycouponlady.com/PRINT-COUPONS/ and im a memeber of inboxdollars & swagbucks so they have coupon sites within them so i get the coupon and extra points in my account for using their coupon site. |

I'm not into Extreme Couponing but I've seen the show and they said that u can go to the websites and print them out or ask the company!

I've been searching online this afternoon and it seems finding coupons is harder than it looks! I went to a couple of the websites but they don't really offer coupons like you see on the show!

Just an FYI the savings on the show is not entirely accurate...I researched it, and read some interesting articles about it. You can still save money but 1000 dollars worth of food for pennies is not a realistic goal. Look up the Krazy Koupon Lady on facebook or google.

Yeah, I knew that all ready. I'm not going for the CRAZY savings like they are. I think they are stupid for buying HUNDREDS of boxes of things (like the dried pasta, etc.) when you don't really need to buy those things by the 100's. I think they only thing I would "splurge" on for a good deal is like toilet paper. I just want to save more than I am right now. Which I'm not really saving anything! :)

Your best bet is newspapers, you can also contact your local newspaper recycling office and find out if they allow people to coupon hunt. Some will.

Newspapers are definitely where you'll find lots of coupons. My cousin does couponing and she saves thousands every year.

I buy 2 newspapers each Sunday, clip and file all coupons, and then I go to a couple different blogs who post match ups (often linking to online coupons) and make my shopping list from there. I don't typically buy much of the food that is covered by coupons unless it's free, then I will donate it. What I DO buy with coupons are health and beauty, cleaning, paper products and things like that. It's not typically worth it to just get a coupon and use it. You want to combine the coupon with a store coupon and/or a sale to get the best deal. I second visiting thekrazycouponlady.com. het blog is my favorite in the way that it is organized.

I have a problem with a lot of people I know personally who are giant coupon-junkies. The problem is, they're spending lots of money on things they wouldn't have bought otherwise because of the coupon.
Coupons give you a discount, but 50% off is still more than spending nothing on something you don't actually want. |
BeautifulBrownEyes Post Count: 68 |
Yeah, in the couponing world, 50% off isn't even really considered a great deal. If people are spending that much for stuff that they wouldn't normally buy then they're sort of missing the point. What I hate is when people hoard like the ones on the tv show. That is ridiculous.

I know a few sites.
Redplum.com-Sunday paper or website works too Couponsuzy.com- never tried but heard about it on radio and web ads Coolsavings.com- think it's in Sunday paper Smartsource.com- usually found in Sunday paper If you type in coupons in the search you can find more. I saved $8 on diapers today with coupons actually! You can save a lot of money with coupons but it can be tiring. I don't know how those extreme coupon people do it. It's like you have to dedicate your whole life to coupon searching. Couponmom.com |
