Probably a mix of drugs, alchohol and smoking, as those had already started to affect her health, and she had emphysema and heart problems as a result.

Aw crap. Was kinda hoping she'd clean herself up and keep making fun music.

Wonder what picture they will use for her obituary?
Amy cracked out? Amy drunk? Amy on this drug or that drug?
They will probably have to find one from over 10 years ago, to try and make her look like a sensible human being.

But he wasn't - we looked it up online and read about it; I think it's pretty sad.
Amy was incredibly talented and still had potential but let her alcohol + drug addiction get in the way of her talent.

I agree with an empty frame. - I was hoping that she'd get over her problems & get back to her good music.

But, truth be told, I'm pretty sure it has something to do with drug overdose ..or something like that *sigh*

Srsly not surprised that she's dead but it is sad. Her voice was just so amazing. I was talking to my friend and if Lindsay keeps going on the way she is, she's gonna be next. Time to grow the fuck up and set one's life straight. Poor Amy. Not so sad about Lindsay. XD

I'm gonna disagree with EVERYONE here and say...Amy was possibly one of the WORST singers I've heard in the past 20 years. There was just absolutely NOTHING redeeming about what she wrote.

That's just MY opinion though.

My friend sent me a text message that said, "Dude, Amy Winehouse is dead!"

To which I kindly responded, "1. Meh and 2. Is it really a surprise?"

A junkie who got millions for singing a song about refusing to go to rehab for treatment. Yea this is neither a shock nor really news to me. There's other more important things going on then the fact that there is one less drug addict in the world. Sorry if its harsh but I think its also true

seriously, i know she was a drunk and a drug addict, she might even have been a "crappy singer" but above all else she was a person, a human being, and it is sad when one loses a life, especialy so young.

She was one of the most talented singers I've ever heard. She didn't win all those Grammys for nothing!

And I agree with you - she is still a human being. I think it's sad, especially, like you said, she was so young |:

@Snap: I think the reason she won all the Grammy's was because she doesn't sing like everyone else winning them, the same reason Adele will win a ton of stuff.

But, personally, Amy Winehouse has always annoyed me - and I was glad her songs were never popular on the radio here.

Like I said on facebook.. I'm not surprised about her dying.. This is what happens when u can't get ur fckn addiction under control. Spare me the "omg so young, such a great talent" shit.. Yeah, its sad that she died so young. But that's it. She threw her life away. She knew what she was doing. She didn't even want to help herself. MUSIC GOD said it best, her biggest hit was talking about being a crackhead. I have nooo sympathy for addicts.
