I am decorating my livingroom with dragonfly pictures. I have found quite a few on DeviantArt.com, but I am looking for something beautiful and unique.

That second one is beautiful! I am going to do a collage and I am collecting amazing pictures like this. I found a TON on DA, but you can only look through so many pictures. lol

I would avoid DA like the plague. Every single artist on that site has a superiority complex, and if they ever find out you so much as did anything other than look at the art in question, they'll be breathing down your neck for the next few weeks asking for money or threatening to sue.

Don't get me wrong, you'll have people threatening to sue and all that other nonsense, but they won't have a case, as long as you're not selling them. I just don't think it's worth the harassment.

I must be one of the few people on DA that doesn't do that. Personal use of a photo is just fine with me. Too bad I don't have any dragonfly pics though. They're fascinating little creatures!

Oh god, those things horrify me. I have only ever seen two in my life... they don't seem to be very proliferate over here.

They're ALL OVER THE PLACE here during the summer, and I'm scared to DEATH of them! Lol.

They are here too, usually stuck to one another in the mating process. lol.

I have a few on my smug mug account but I gotta get to a different computer to get to them.

I'm glad you like 'em! :D That makes it worth the screaming I did every time that little bugger got too close to me. XD My friends kept laughing at me b/c he'd do a random flying thing and I'd think he was flying at my face and I'd scream. XD I really don't like bugs but I like photographing them. XD

ha ha. I love those little things. I love it when they land on my finger. Most bugs freak me out, but not these guys.

I really can only handle ladybugs and butterflies. And caterpillars. Everything else that has more than 4 legs freak me the FUCK out. XD

I think it's that buzzing noise that freaks me out; it makes me think of bees and I automatically flinch. As long as they're not moving and going to fly in my face I'm ok b/c I am quite interested... I just dont' want them on me. XD Too many bad experiences. XD

I'm that way with spiders. Bleh. One crawled down the inside of my window while I was driving down a pretty busy highway. I screamed and about crashed my car. I really think that if it would have fallen on me, I would have crashed.
