Obama has sparked some controversy by having a beer at a basketball game.

One caller to WWL complained, "People are losing 5, 10, 20 thousand dollars a day in the stock market, and he's sitting there drinking a beer!" She also said, "It's insulting... there's a lot of people suffering." She insisted President Obama should not publicly have fun during a time of so much pain.

What are your thoughts?Personally, I feel that the President of the USA needs a drink more than any other man on earth! And if that was me, it wouldn't be beer I'd be sipping at the basketball. I'd be tipping barrels of absinthe down my throat, yo!!

If he was sitting at that basketball game drinking a coke, I'm sure the woman would have bitched about him being at the basketball game rather than the beer.

Besides, even when shit gets passed in congress, it takes a little bit of time to actually work it's way into being, and last I checked congress was still bitching over what the fuck to do with America.

It's not like him sitting in his office and waiting on other people is going to make anything happen faster by any useful margin of time.

Besides, what if it was the President's day off? He doesn't have to work 24/7, 365 last I checked.

This woman is clearly butthurt and jealous. I mean, if her house was all foreclosed on and shit, I can understand if she's upset and angry, but to take it out on the president because he's not fixing your problems fast enough is just plain dumb.
