Did anyone ever use ICQ???

I used it along time ago and one of my friend mentioned it to me today. I haven't heard of anyone using it in awhile.

Does anyone still use it?

I used ICQ aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages ago. I started using it in '96, shortly after it was released. I stopped after I graduated in 2001.

My husband told me the other day that he went on his ICQ for the first time in years. I couldn't believe he still remembered his user number! I certainly can't remember mine. lol

i cant remember mine either, i even looked myself up and i couldnt find it. I made a new one, and i have no friends and it's not as easy to search for people anymore.

Gosh I haven't used it in about 8 or so years!!!!

i haven't used it in years...but once i thought about it i remember my ICQ # from memory.

That "UH OH" when you got a message always annoyed me!

I still remember my user number...26798880. I only remember it because some random guy I use to talk to called me by my ICQ number when he sent voice messages, because I'd never give anyone my name.

Oh god, my boyfriends store's cash registers make that "uh oh" sound every time a wrong button is pressed...it is enough to drive anyone mad.

I was always an MSN Messenger person.

I still use it to talk to one friend. An old friend from yearssssss agoo.....i stopped using it for a while and we lost contact and then one day i checked it by the go.icq.com without downloading it and there was a message from him so I downloaded it and talk to him sometimes. but i was surprised I still remembered my # and password.

i had it for a little while. but i barely had any friends on there so i got rid of it.
i wouldn't be able to tell you my number though...it's filed in my brain under useless information!

I used to a long time ago. I don't anymore. I don't even use msn/aim very much anymore. I'm strictly a yahoo girl. Everything is simpler that way.

I had ICQ before I was in high school...I never used it, though. Had no friends. lol Crazy...kind of makes me feel old now.

I just logged into my old one... and wow. They really changed it. It sucks now... lol. Soooo many of the options are gone and the new look is horrid.

We used it back in the 90's cause it was the only messenger application that allowed sending large files. :/

I agree it does look horrid. And searching for people isn't as easy as it was before.

My roommate in college was always tech-savvy and he used to say that ICQ is a magnet for viruses and stuff. The last time I used it on a regular basis was almost ten years ago.
