So life has been strange. I guess I'm just not very good at being a girlfriend. Or something. I'm always fighting with Ryan about shit that we shouldn't be fighting over. Yesterday's entry was about that. He asked me what I want out of this relationship and I couldn't tell him. And that made me sort of wary as to whether we're just wasting each other's time or if it really even matters if I can voice what I want out of the relationship.
Sometimes I feel like I'm nicer around my friends because they somehow annoy me less. But then I think about it and I'm not even sure anymore. For the time being I'm going to simply make and keep the assumption that relationships have their ups and downs and that things will work out smoothly. We both obviously have much to work on.
Other than the few arguments Thanksgiving was fun. We went to Seattle and stayed with a couple of his friends from undergrad. Found a pretty cool video store down by UW and explored. Then we went to a comedy club in the same area that ended up being pretty entertaining. Not the greatest show ever, but it was at least nice to drink a beer and watch people make fools of themselves for a couple hours.
Ate some good sushi. Duh. And smoked and drank a lot. Yay.
Now it's back to school for two weeks and back to AZ after that. Very excited about flying home and seeing my people.
