Commemoration of...

Awkward?
Peter spent the night last night & so I woke up with him this morning around six. I made him breakfast and a sandwich for lunch (like a good girlfriend should) while he was taking a shower. As soon as Peter leaves, the weirdest thing happened to me today.

Well, yesterday I got into a debate with my mom and step dad. Forget the details, they're not that important. What is important is that this morning my step dad came to me and said "You know I really do love you..." and gave me the first hug we've had in ten years. Of course I hugged back, I told him it was alright and that we all make mistakes.
I just wanted to commemorate this moment, because I know it took a lot of courage for him to say that to me. Words that I haven't heard from his mouth, to me, for ten years.
What a day, eh?

ryc: i make it clear that i have my own opinions and beliefs and they should respect mine just like i respect their beliefs. my diary is a place i show who i am, and i wont tolerate people who insult it.

i mean it is your diary so i want you to express how you feel. if you ever stopped writing how you felt jsut so people would read you, i would be angry with you lol (well not really XD) but i would tell you to write how you please.

ryc: haha thats an interesting question...i think if you are of the age limit its ok as long as you do it responsibly. dont drink and drive home and be safe. but for people who do it all the time and stuff...i dont really agree with it.

ryc: i dont think people should result to substances to take away their pain. i mean its kinda like running away from your problems and people who dont want to face problems in their life tend to use substances more to get away longer.
