A day in the life that keeps going on...

His 94th year.

07/01/2009

Smile, today is a new day. :)

Since the first time I kissed Peter I've been having this battle with myself. Not my mind, but my body. When I describe it to Peter he says "Like butterflies?" But I'm really not sure. I've never felt that way before, and it only happens when I kiss him.
Slowly, through out the day I did notice that the pain in my stomach while kissing him had greatly decreased after I had talked about it with him. Things seem to be falling into place.

My first real shot at love, never thought it'd be like this. But I like the way he makes me feel & I love holding his hands.

Today I went out to dinner with his family from his mom's side, it was his grandfather's 94th birthday party. They were all honest, silly, gossipy, told many amazing stories, awkward at small moments yet they were everything I expected them to be. I really enjoyed my dinner at the Outback. (I ordered shrimp with water.) Through conversation, I found that his mom has a really pure heart and she was a teacher for over 30 years. I find that very admirable. Peter's dad had some similarities to my dad, an example being that he seemed quite strict. His grandfather was a really sweet old man that looked like he'd break if you handled him roughly. He wore a bright blue shirt with yellow stripes running through it. After noticing that he was wearing this shirt, I looked at his face, into these bright blue eyes. Whoa, wasn't expecting that. Not only was it his birthday but I noticed the effect he had on everyone around him. When he opened his mouth to talk, I noticed that everyone(including myself) was leaning in to hear what he had to say. I was amazed by Peter's grandpa in many ways. I could tell in the way he spoke, he was a gentleman. He told many stories of his past, such as when he was overseas to war when he was in the Coast Guard.

I even got to hold Peter's hand under the table a couple of times. Hehe, first time in public.

* The next day, the pain in my stomach had disappeared completely. Thank goodness!

Peace Love Unity Respect, always. <3
