ZiGi.
So Peter's phone has been off for two days. I haven't heard much from him & I miss talking to him whenever I want.
This morning Krystle posted her car onto craigslist, trying to sell it. She needs it off of the lot by the end of the month & I hope that we get good reactions, she said she wanted to set a portion of this money aside for my birthday. Krystle and I sat down and planned my birthday,(Because Mars is coming for me & it's almost like it's God's present to me... A day late! .) We decided to have a 2 day-1 night trip camping at Lake Cushman, friends only! I told Krystle that I've never been camping without my family, with just a group of friends so that's what she insisted that we do...
Anyways, as Krystle was browsing craigslist, she looked at the job section and found some posts with some available positions down at the fair. We got all dressed up, and made our way down to the fair by two. I wanted to turn my resume in, so we left at one. After arriving to the fair at 1:30, we look around endlessly for our destination. For confirmation of the place, we called David & asked him to read the craigslist listing again, with surrounding buildings. We get to our destination and ask around finding that it was right in front of us. At least we found it! We arrive and & let a worker know that we are here for the job & they pointed out the manager. I can't remember her name right now, but she had long blonde hair and her eyeliner and mascara was smeared a little from the heat. She must be a really hard worker, I thought. She was extremely nice & seemed like she treated her workers well.
After she handed us the application, we filled it out & had an open interview. She made sure we were qualified for the job & gave us a description of what the job would be. The first thing that came out of her mouth was "50's theme"... No shit! Krystle and I were worried about the uniforms, but to no avail we find that we are going to be wearing poodle skirts and tennis shoes. & I've never had a job before, for my 1st, I got lucky! After leaving the fair, knowing we got the jobs I felt like I was ontop of the world. I had finally accomplished something that I had never done, before. Krystle and I high fived each other numerous times. Krystle can't find her food handler's card, so she has planned to take it tomorrow at six. This idea went through out the house & Nate & David decided that they wanted to get their Foodhandler's card, too.
After getting home feeling accomplished, I grab my phone. I want to tell Peter, so bad! I tell Krystle how disappointed I am that I haven't talked to him yet, that it's been two days now. She reassured me that I can call his house. "You're his girlfriend, you're allowed to call his house phone." These words gave me courage as I made my way upstairs and hopped on my bed. I'm gonna call him! So I call his house phone & get his answering machine. I was so crushed, I wanted to hear Peter's voice. Five minutes after I call his house phone, his cell phone sends me a text. No way!!! His phone's back on! I felt amazing, things just seemed to be going right. & I just wanted to tell him my good news then&there in text but I held back. I started to text him, and found myself asking the question "Where are you?" And he said he was driving & laughed really hard. I asked him why he was laughing & he said I'd find out soon. (I felt it in my gut, his surprise.) I really wanted to wait to tell him, now. He was so close I could almost taste him. The next text he sent me was telling me to look out my window. I waited for a minute & saw him pull into my drive way. "I'm gonna wait for him up here," I thought for a second. Then, the feeling of wanting to hug him overcame these feelings & I ran outside to hug him as soon as he came out of his car. He gave me a strong hug, oh how I missed him. I was so excited I just had to tell him. I texted him earlier about Krystle's car & news but held onto my secret. After his strong hug I held his hand and said, "Guess what? I got a job today!" The look on his face was pleasant but full of shock, I liked his reaction. He then made his way to his trunk where he pulled out his suitcase and toiletry bag. I didn't even know he was coming over, none the less spending the night. Maybe my reaction then was pleasant but full of shock, too.
Today was all about surprises, for sure. Once Peter brought his bags upstairs, he opened his toiletry bag & pulled out Zigi. The most amazing bubbler I've ever used to this day, colored like Peter's eyes (balanced between green&blue) & said "There's only one rule, you can't use it when I'm not here." My reaction, "No, way, you're keeping it here?" I only thought he was bringing it for this trip & then he loaded a bowl and we started our night...
Actually, late at night we were smoking & as I was putting Zigi down it became unbalanced. Through past experiences, I have the habit of not letting go completely unless I can feel the piece is secure on the floor. Which is what happened, so it didn't fall. But what a scare I gave everyone, including myself. Oh well, can't really do anything but live & learn.
So, that was my hump day, Wednesday the 22nd.
Karma rocks.
PEACE.
