My child is 10 and a half months old already. Seriously this time last year I couldn't see my feet.
My brothers were trying to get footage of me trying to tie my shoes to put on youtube. No that isn't a joke. They're jackasses.
Elora is growing up so fast... it makes me cry. And want more babies lol
She's working on walking (three months ahead of the game, I walked at about 13, Justin walked at 14, and Colin walked at 15 1/2... Colin was a slacker lol), she's got at least 11 teeth now and she's drooling up a storm right now so it'll be 12 soon. She's pretty good at talking for not being a full year old.
She says "Mumma!" for me, "Pappa!" for my dad (always in a whisper for some reason), if you ask her what the dog says she tells you"Baaabbaaak!" which we figure is bark bark. That's from us trying to keep her not afraid of the dog. Zoey barks her head off when someone comes up to the door, or there's a rabbit or whatever in the yard. We're still not used to it even though we've had Zoey for almost 4 years now lol. Ziggy never ever barked. But at first when Elora really started to notice noise she'd cry when the dog barked.
So we started telling her "Bark bark! That's what Zoey puppy says!" and eventually when the dog started barking so did Elora lol
She'll also respond to the question "How big is Elora?" with a big grin and raising her arms up. It's cute. Apparently my dad worked on that with her.
Yesterday we were out in the yard and she wanted to go pet the neighbor's dog (little yappy Yorkie that's more her size). So I set her down and held her hands while she toddled over to the fence. Once Lola (the dog) got called in, I asked Elora where Zoey was. She looked around the yard and pointed to our dog sitting about twenty feet away.
I didn't want to go inside yet so I said "Let's get Zoey puppy!"
Elora squealed and took off almost too quickly for me to catch hold of her hands lol.
Once we got over there Elora decided that Zoey made a good bean bag and flopped down on the poor dog. Normally Zoey doesn't tolerate cuddles but for some reason she just let Elora climb on her. It was really cute. Kind of wish I had my camera out there with us but the battery had started to be a jerk and randomly dies when it was fully charged the morning before. I need a new camera.
Picture time!
"Hey, Lady! Let me out! I swear I won't cause any trouble "
Yet another example of why I need a new camera. It might just be my inability to hold still... but whatever. It's still a cute picture.
Playing "Super Baby!" With Uncle Justin (my older brother AKA Uncle Pirate Jesus)
Snuggle picture with Uncle Justin
"I'ma gonna make a silly face at you!"
"So big!" Her smile isn't the best here but she was getting impatient for her lunch. That's what Crazy said anyway.
The rest of the pictures she was rolling around and her little bits were showing so those aren't going on the interwebs.
Edited for public consumption. And also adorableness.
"But... but... but...."
"I wanna go back into the pooooooooooooooool!!!!!"
lol I love this picture.
haha well chances are that would still work even now, I know it would for me. I hear about girl issues and im one step from plugging my ears and going nananananananna
