I have a smart baby... or an average monkey
So given the learning curve between chimps and humans... studies show that my kid a dumb chimpanzee. But she's a really smart human lol
Elora was in the kitchen with my Mom the other day. And she was randomly waving her hands around and laughing while my mom danced around and cooked lunch.
I was in the shower.
My mom called me into the kitchen once I was done brushing out my hair and everything.
She looked at me and said...
"You're daughter was asking for you."
Apparently Elora had been hitting her hand into her chin. She looked at me and repeated the motion.
Purposely.
My baby made the sign for "Mommy."
I cried.
True story.
We've been working with her some more and she signs "Mommy" back to me and when I'm feeding her I've begun to make signs for "Eat" and asking her. She can't quite get teh hang of that one yet cause it's close to "Mommy" but she knows the sign for "more".
No lie, she was signing more and I asked her if she wanted more and she signed again... then shook her head no.
Again I cried.
She's growing up so quick.
