So I had a day off yesterday. That was nice.
Just kind of chilled out and relaxed with Elora.
It was really nice.
I got a little more information on organizing a blood drive to help my friend's brother.
We can do it through work so that the pharmacy can do the paper work, and Justin (Kristy's little brother not my older brother) gets the credit.
As in for every person that donates during the drive sponsoring him, they get a certain amount off of whatever part of the bill not covered by his insurance.
So hopefully we can get a big group of people to help him out.
Chevey (aka Andrew) is still going to have his kidney removed. He's doing his typical withdrawal thing that he does before a surgery. It's sad that he's had so many he's developed a pattern. But he does.
He gets kind of mopey and just chills out by himself a lot. But this time he has a baby to come visit so he seems a little more cheerful.
I'm lots calmer about both of them, knowing that they'll be okay. Hopefully Chevey will stop being so darned stubborn and let people check to see if they can give him a kidney. I'm first in line when he does.
In other news...
My baby is three months old.
It's pretty trippy thinking about it.
Of course I took new pictures!
"Mommy... why am I in a basket with a bunch of pillows and your bed curtains?"
I got clever and built up a nice squishy bed for her and laid down the curtains from my bed (I have a loft bed and there's these sheers around it) to make it look pretty.
I thought it turned out really cute.
She was moving her arm but it's still a really cute picture.
i know i don't know the dude, but i want to check if my kidney is a match. when you get him to change his mind (you have powers; i know you can.) let me know how to get tested for it.
let me know when the blood drive is and i'll work out transportation to get there. <3
