Hello! I'm not dead/in a coma. Thought you'd all like to know.
I've had a rather crappy night. I got tickets to a Pens game for a friend for her birthday. We were really excited to get to go and see the boys play. But she just had a friend tell me that she isn't comfortable with me spending the money to go. She'd rather me spend it on Elora or dinner or something. Actualy... neither or them have bloop or read mine so here....
"She really appreciates the tickets for her bday but she doesn't really want you buying them. She said she's already going to a game and she'd rather you use the money for Elora or dinner."
Really? What are we five? She can't just tell me this herself?
I already bought the tickets... got a pretty decent deal on them since my other friend and her hubby have season tickets. I also saved since January (a little every week set aside) so that I could buy the tickets. I saved the money with that idea in mind especially because she said she really wanted to go to a game. Yes I know her cousin is also planning on taking her to a game. But hey... why not two games. It's her birthday. She's one of my best friends. I hardly ever get to go out AND I've never been to a Pens game period.
But since it's both insulting that she didn't have the balls to tell me herself and it makes me feel like a loser no one wants to spend any time with... I've just kind of been crying for a while. And my head hurts now.
