My friend Laura came into work the other day. I'd told her about the baby and Pete. And about him not being there because he isn't ready to be a parent.
Well, at this point I don't have to tell her about the baby.
It's pretty damned obvious.
I'm kind of a whale.
Anyway, Laura is a good friend. And she knows Pete. Went to high school with us actually.
Apparently he was "having fun" with another one of her friends that she knows.
I'm not as upset about that as I though I'd be.
Another mutual friend of ours had already broken that lovely little bit of news to me back in January.
So Laura thought she'd talk to him for me(even though I asked her not to... gotta love a buttinski), well intentioned I'm sure... but it ended up hurting a lot.
She didn't yell at him or anything.
Just brought up high school and people we used to know and got on the topic from there.
Apparently there's no way this could be his baby (according to him) since we've "only seen each other a few times over the past couple of years."
We weren't ever really together as a couple. I get that.
But denying that you were with me period?
Not kosher, my friend. Not at all.
Especially when you're sitting right in front of one of only people you know who can tell when you're lying.
He's actualy pretty good at it (sadly)... but Laura and I were two of his chick friends that could tell.
I'd like to think I've been pretty level headed about this.
I have made my friends promise not to go form a Brute Squad and beat the living snot out of him.
Several of them want to by the way.
But I dislike drama so I made them swear not to say anything if they see him.
I'm just hurt right now.
I didn't think my heart could get anymore chunks ripped out of it.
Apparently I was wrong.
Now with the hurt... comes anger.
Well more anger anyway.
I'm trying really hard not to be vindictive and tell his parents when I see them next.
But then again...
I think maybe it might be a little more interesting if they find out when he gets the subpoena in the mail

჻ೋ჻ RYC: I blocked him on Facebook, but I checked Facebooks help center and it said that they can see comments I post and some other info. It doesn't show my picture to him or non-Facebook users, but from any other Facebook account you can, and it's so easy to create a new account. I had been commenting and posting stuff on her page, and she didn't tell me she had added him back, that is what made me really upset, all this time I didn't know. What if I gave away stuff about where we are or what we are doing?
I agree. Child support. Get him for everything he's worth. If he can do the deed, he can do the time. You have to live with it, and so does he. I can't believe he would just lie!
