So like I was saying… the family does presents on Christmas eve.
It used to be the big deal to go to Gram’s on Christmas eve. Cause PapPap Builds-Houses loved Christmas so much he used to walk around singing Christmas carols in July.
But it kind of faded when he passed away. We went for a few years but then people started making other plans.
So now it’s a big deal at our house.
We make a big dinner and exchange presents, spend time together. All that good crap.
The dinner is probably the best part. Cause we each get to pick one thing that we want to eat, sometimes two and we make a ton of food. Daddy surprised me with baked mac and cheese this year. It was kind of the highlight of my life.
Sad but true.
We got The Mindie a gift basket of her favorite scent at Bath and Body works, and a joint present for her and Justin. We got them a nunchuk for the Wii… then found out that they had one already. Oh well, can always take it back and get something they want. And we got Justin a movie kind of thing. It’s A Threevening with Kevin Smith. He was surprised and happy. Cause that’s one he doesn’t have and he’s one of those movie nerds who really like listening to directors and people bullshit about stuff.
Crazy got a bunch of running gear to keep her warm and or cool since she got some stuff for both seasons.
Daddy got the Wall. He’s pumped.
Colin is probably the most excited I’ve ever seen him.
He got a ukulele.
Lots of other stuff too but I think that might be his favorite.
And really… who could blame him?
I got a bunch of gift cards, two to Ulta. So I’m excited about that.
And Starbucks and Borders.
I also got permission to get and Ipod.
Crazy didn’t have time to look into them. So she gave me money towards it and I have the Christmas money that Gram gave me.
So I’m excited about that.
I just got out of work and home for the day, it’s weird being here at like 1pm.
Normally I’d be at school or working.
But I’m home, searching for someone to hang out with… or possibly go out with.
Cause I’m looking to get that Ipod soon.
The gift cards are burning a hole in my pocket.
I think I’m gonna go get something to eat.
