So I got into a bit of a slump the other day. The sucky thing is it lasted for about two weeks. Which really sucks. But Elora was there to cheer me up. So it's okay.
Had her to the Dr's for her WellBaby visit a last week. She's growing like a weed.
She's 24" long and weighs in at 13lbs 3.6oz. Which means she's pleasently chubby for a baby but not alarmingly so. Have you ever seen a baby with rolls on top of rolls? I know it's cute, but at some point it has to be unhealthy.
Elora is perfect.
Dr. Fabulous (dude is called such as he's so far in the closet he can see Narnia) is very pleased with her growth, and is supportive of my idea to take and herbal supplement to increase my milk supply. I've been trying to find a good one. There's one that I'm looking into that seems to have good reviews and few side effects. We'll see.
She took her shots like a champ again. Still cried but was quickly settled down with nursing and snuggles. She's a really cuddly baby.
So Elora was in her pack and play lastnight, just kicking her feet and laughing. I went into the kitchen to get something to drink, and I hear her start to fuss. So I peeked in to make sure she was okay.
Look at what my big girl did!
She'd been really close to rolling over for the past week but kept getting frustrated cause she would get her arm stuck underneath her.
But now she's got that sorted and can roll herself over just fine. It's getting back onto her back that seems to be the trouble now lol
"I have no idea what you're talking about, Mommy. But it's funny!"
