So I haven't been here in months. I've been scrambling to get Elora into Pre-K because of a mix up with some paperwork, and now she starts TOMORROW. By child starts school tomorrow. Holy crap, you guys.
I'm going to cry at some point. But right now I'm just fretful because she's been sick for a week and I knew there was something beyond a cold going on. Not that she had any symptoms beyond a stuffed up nose, I just had a really strange feeling. I let my mom convince me that it was just a cold, since our neighbor (and Elora's best friend) Maddison had one last week and they spent a ton of time playing together recently. Last night I was brushing her hair during bedtime routine an do noticed scratch marks on the inside of her ear. So I asked my mom to take her to the doctors after she dropped me off at work today. Turns out I was right. The doctor said she probably had a sinus infection that was heading into her ears and she scratched at the one cause it felt stuffy. I need to be more assertive about that, but I don't want to be the hypochondriac mom taking her kid to the doctors ever other week.

I'm almost done Christmas shopping for Elora, I just need to wraps and remember what the heck I was planning on getting everyone else.
I have a few baby presents to get cracking on. One for Krista's baby who's almost two months old now, and one for a friend's cousin. I've been too focused on my own mess to really get those done. But I need to as one is actually a commission piece. It feels weird having skeins actually pay me for a blanket. But she cnam'y crochet and she wants a blanket for him.

I should get some sleep. I need to be up early tomorrow to make sure I have all of Elora's paperwork done. And that I have enough time to take picture. Because I'm a huge nerd and made her a shirt.
I'm gonna be that mom that embarrasses the hell out of her kids when they get older. It's gonna be so much fun lol
