Again I didn't feel like messing with the entry layout. This time because I have a really bad toothache and just can't be bothered. My pain meds are just starting kick in after a very long day. I couldn't take them at work cause they frown upon persons who take Vicodin and then use machinery... you know like bread slicers and what not.
I'm going to the dentist as soon as I can get in, but I had my uncle call in a prescription for antibiotics and the pain meds, so that it gets better faster.
I've had a lot of trouble with my teeth over the years, and I know what needing a root canal feels like. I could probably tell you what number drill he's gonna need for crying out loud.
Bad teeth run in the family, and I was a bad kid when it came to brushing my teeth. Gross I know. But at this point there's not a lot I can do to fix it. Just brush them now and keep the ones I have.
I've decided that I'm going to be teaching Elora baby signs.
It's just ASL (American Sign Language) used in combination with spoken words to help babies learn to communicate faster.
Got a book with a DVD when I went out with friends before work today.
Pretty excited about it really.
It was really cute, when I got in the car after work I was telling my dad about it and showed him a few signs on the way home.
We walked in the door and my mom was sitting on the couch with Elora.
Daddy came in and looked at hte baby and said.
"Hello, Baby! It's me! Pappap!" with corresponding signs for Hello, Baby and Papap(Grandpa).lol
He's all excited to have something to teach her. And once I explained that it can help lessen the likelyhood of a tantrum since she's got a way of communicating as she gets older, my mom even jumped on board.
The earlier you start learning a language the better I guess.

We've been teaching our daughter sign language She knows the sign for "more", "all done", and I thinkkk she's getting the sign for "Daddy". They come in handy, esp during meal times! lol. Took her about a month to do it back, but she was a bit older than your little one
Random; No worries, I have bad teeth too. Hated brushing as a kid, but who did like it? Now my teeth are ruined so I'm getting them completely redone in January, getting them whitened & going to brush my teeth after I eat, regardless of what time! Lol.
