Somewhere between half as

02/05/2009

Feeling quite lazy today.
Not sure why.
I went out last night after I got some stuff done in my room and some studying done for my Pharmacology test.
The Brenden and I went out to Michael’s and Ross Park because I needed to pick up a few things.
I needed new nose rings as the last one I had disappeared on Sunday after my shower.
That’s what I get for wearing a pop in and washing my face while it’s still in.

Went to the craft store partially because I’m sick of pink.
I’m just over half way done with the main body of the baby blanket that I’m making for Dawn’s granddaughter.
It’s cute and a pretty soft baby pink.
I’m sick of looking at pink.
And I did promise Mari that I would make a couple of scarves for her kids.
So I got some yarn… it’s a pain in the ass to work with sometimes, cause its fluffy and frays pretty easy, but it’s soft and warm.
Warm is what Mari will be happy with.
The soft part I picked mostly for her son Timmy.
They’re still figuring out what’s going on, like they have to do a lot more testing with him, but they think he might be autistic.
He’s very particular about texture. Loves soft stuff to death.
I got three so I could make a scarf to her two daughters too.
Three variegated colors of teal, purple, and a really pretty blue.
Not that I’m going for anything special stitch wise, I’m just doing a single to get them done. The ‘homespun’ (aka pain in the ass) yarn makes a really nice fringe when it frays so it’ll be pretty and make up for the plain stich.

I’ll have to post pictures when they’re finished.
And I find my camera charger.
Seems to have gone missing that has.
I swear something does every time mom goes in and straightens up for me while I’m at school.
I really appreciate the fact that my mother is cleaning my room.
Because, I hate to and that’s why it never gets done.
But if she could just stop throwing away anything with wires that she doesn’t know what it is?
That would be fantastic.
