and i can't fight this feeling anymore.

my mom came down last night, we hung out, watched dirty dancing and talked thru it like we always do.
today was great! we went to the eaton centre and i managed to buy shoes (sandals), undies (adorable boyshorts), a few tanks and a cardigan. we came back to the apartment for an hour or so, and changed for the evening. i wore my blue-green dress with a wide hot pink belt and black peep-toe wedges. as andrew put it, i was "dressed to the tits". looking good. i drove us downtown and we walked to a restaurant of mom's choosing. i went with the summerlicious prix fixe menu, and it was tasty! mussels (shared), chicken picata with angel hair pasta and amazingly delicious asparagus, and vanilla ice cream + espresso (also shared). omg, so good!
after dinner was the night's main event: rock of ages. it was excellent! i highly recommend it, and you should all go if ever given the chance. brilliant. wonderful music, great laughs, and i may have a tiny crush on the french canadian who played the male lead. it certainly didn't hurt that i was sitting second row orchestra, and i swear to god homeboy checked out my rack. being served beer in a plastic cup in my seat by a boy who looked like a cruch i had in london was another highlight of the night.
speaking of london, i'm so excited to visit in 2.5 weeks! friends and food and drinks and a city that i love. excellent!
