yesterday was exactly what i needed.
i went to zube's and had the best bestie day we've had in a long time. we talked, cuddled, ate cheese followed by takeout, watched mindless tv. oh yeah, we were also day drunk on wine, out of coffee mugs at 3 in the afternoon. all class, all the time.
really tho, it was good, and i think we both needed it. there were things we needed to say, some in general, some specifically to each other. there was a lot of laughter, a lot of hugs.
matt was there when i first arrived, then we were alone, then zach got home toward the end of my visit. it was perfect timing.
between the 2 of us, we took down 3 bottles of wine. on empty stomachs. i had to hold his shoulders as he walked down the stairs in front of me to keep my balance when we went to pick up dinner. what a wonderful afternoon.
