call me a safe bet, i'm betting i'm not.

i saw brand new last night. it was so cathartic.
i felt 22 again. i sang my guts out and loved every minute.
i was a glistening sweaty happy mess.
i may have subtly eye-fucked the tall babe beside me.
brand new sounded amazing. the best i've heard them in years, no doubt.
jesse seemed happy. there was no emo hiding under hoods, not talking to the audience. i believed him when he said he liked playing in toronto, and thanked us all for coming.
i think it's the first time i've seen them where they didn't play soco, or me vs. maradona vs. elvis, but i'm not complaining. they played for 2 solid hours and i loved it all.
i’d forgotten how good it could be.

they were wonderful indeed.
despite being sprayed in the face a dozen times by a fire hose,
i danced & sung my heart out.
they only played for an hour tho, stupid festival set times.
it was wonderful.
i almost forgot how good they are live, its been so long.
