I GOT MY CAR!!
it took forever, and the back and forth catch-22 bullshit with my insurance was lame, but she's here! i don't have any pictures yet [slight lie -- i posted one to twitter from my blackberry, but i mean legit pics] but she's everything i wanted and more.
it will take some getting used to driving, because it's so much bigger than my echo was. straight up driving isn't really an issue, but parking and reversing is going to need some attention. i can't wait to show her off! i hope it's nice easter weekend, as my dad has already offered to wash and wax it on a nice day.
it's day 2 of my diet, and everything's going really well. i haven't even really craved carbs, except tonight when i was leaving the dealership, and passed a pizza place. josh is at work till 9:30, so it would have been so easy to just grab a slice of pizza for dinner, but that's the old ange. new ange came home and roasted eggplant and zucchini, and chicken breast [plus extra for salads for lunch this week]. i'm not sure, but this may have been the first time i've eaten eggplant, other than tempura fried, and it was delicious.
new ange also has a new dress. my henkaa dress came today, and i'm pretty sure i'm going to love it. it's pretty intense tho. haha. essentially it's a skirt + 4 arms' lengths of fabric for straps. i'm going to need some help tying it up, at least at first, but i like the way it looks, and the colour is really pretty. i'll try to post some pictures once i figure out which styles i like to wear. |
