we had our anatomy ultrasound yesterday. it was so wonderful to see baby in there!! i'm still feeling that it's a girl, but we chose not to find out the sex. the tech said we wouldn't even look, but just to be safe josh and i looked at each other while they were measuring femur length - wouldn't want to see something accidentally!
i'm measuring at least as big as baby should be by my dates (which is a couple of days ahead of my edd by my nt ultrasound). i knew all along that my dates were spot on, not that 2 days is going to make a difference anyway - baby will come when baby is ready.
i've started wearing the few maternity tops that i bought back in december. i don't *need* them yet, but they're comfy, and i don't have to worry that my belly is showing. my bump has officially popped out; 2 or 3 coworkers commented this week on how it's growing. it's weird to look in the mirror, see a chubby belly, and not be able to suck it in, but i'm okay with it. i think it looks cute, actually.
here is the bump, at 19 weeks - my first day in a maternity shirt.
