to anyone questioning my safety because i live in toronto: thank you, i appreciate your concern, but i'm fine. i've decided to spend the weekend lying low in my east end apartment, and keeping my distance from the downtown core. there's some crazy shit going on, surely, but i would also like to mention that a few asshole anarchists are stealing the spotlight from thousands of peaceful protestors. personally, the only thing i would protest about this summit is the summit itself, that is to say the billion+ dollars spent on security and aesthetic nonsense, but to each their own.
like i said, it's a pretty low key weekend for me. i went grocery shopping and did laundry today. i'll clean the majority of the apartment tomorrow. kelly comes tuesday evening, and rachel will be in town wednesday night. i work 2 shifts this week, then the fun can begin. i'm so looking forward to it. hooray!
