good bye ruby tuesday.

1. i took a 2 hour lunch break from work to get a mani/pedi across the street from my clinic.
2. the salon had the impossible-to-find colour i've been hunting for for over a year. long story short, i chose this colour at random once when getting a pedi downtown, and fell in love with it. i planned to buy it and use it for the wedding, only to discover that it was from a limited collection in 2010, and was impossible to find. i've seen it once, on amazon, for $30+shipping - too rich for my blood. i was beside myself with excitement when i saw that the salon i went to today had it, and asked if they'd sell it to me. they did - practically full for $6!
3. i went for my brazillian wax after work, and it didn't hurt at all. okay, like, maybe 2 on a scale from 1 to 10. at most. fantastic results too. well done, nice waxer girl.
4. i had my brows threaded yesterday. i think i have a new favourite threader. she didn't hurt me at all, the shape is perfect, and her hands smelled like oranges!
5. aesthetically, all i have left to do is colour my hair (which i'll do tomorrow evening) and i'm ready to go!
