ryc: I need to stop drinking after work at the bars just in general. That's part of what gets me into these messes and feelings of rage and anger and situations where I drive home after drinking, it is not good, not good at all.
I'm not sure why it isn't visible, but I did leave a non-private comment! This happened to me some time last week with another diarist, so I think there is some kind of glitch that needs to be worked out...
Here was my comment:
RYC: I don't mind you asking. I explained some of our reasoning a few months ago when we first made the decision. The least of our concerns is the cost comparison. The main reason we decided on a home birth is that we have zero confidence in our local hospital (as well as the one in the next town over) and have heard nothing but horror stories since moving to the area. If we were still in Colorado we would undoubtedly be giving birth at either the birth center or the same hospital where we had M with the assistance of a doula. We aren't opposed to hospital birth in general, just our hospital.
