our new sleep set was delivered today. i'm in LOOOOOOVE with my new bed. well, it's not technically a bed - just the mattress and box spring. the bed debacle is a whole other story, and frankly, one that makes me depressed. so yes, for now it's just the sleep set aka bed. anyway, it's sooooooo comfortable. josh and i nearly fell asleep on it in the store, that's how comfortable we found it to be.
pretty sure one of the guys who delivered it tried to pick me up. he was 100% scarborough, complete with short dreads, a hint of an island accent, and a gold tooth. sorry, gold toof. he implied that i'll be enjoying my bed tonight, but not sleeping in it, wink wink. it wasn't creepy, the way he said it. i laughed. he admired our movie collection, declared me a fanatic, and told his partner that you don't let a girl who watches such badass movies get away. stay classy, scarbs.
i braved the mall this afternoon, to start christmas shopping, and kill some time. i bought my mom's gift, and josh's, so the majority of my shopping is done. the hard/expensive stuff, anyway. frankly, i'm pretty impressed with myself.
i'm totally going to lie in bed and watch good will hunting tonight. the sheets jesse gave me for my shower are so soft and lovely, and i can't wait to crawl into them with these awesomely smooth legs i've got going on. |
