our christmas gathering last weekend was a success. we decorated gingerbread houses and put up the christmas tree with friends. it was a lovely time.
this friday night was my work christmas party. it was at a brazilian steakhouse, and everything was delicious. there were dancers, including some dudes doing capoeira. very cool. josh really liked the red wine we were served, and was adorbly intoxicated. i had a really great time; it was the best staff christmas party yet.
i'm nearly finished my christmas shopping. i've got one of my brothers left to buy for, and i'm still racking my brain for something other than an itunes gift card; i know he'd be happy with one, but i don't love giving gift cards. i was always raised that giving money was tacky; it says "you're worth $x to me" and takes such little effort. i wouldn't mind adding a $10 itunes card to another small gift... we'll see what happens. other than cam tho, it's just something to add to what i've already gotten alex's girlfriend, and some odds and ends for stockings. i'm actually really happy with everything i've gotten people; they're all gifts that i think they will really enjoy.
