i fiiiiinally went to roller derby last night! it was fun. i need to learn some of the rules better, but it was fun to watch. i'm not sure i'll ever get the balls to try out for fresh meat - those girls are fucking TOUGH - but it's still in the back of my mind. at the very least, i plan to take in more games.
i went with krysta, and was dumb enough to let her steer our "we should grab food after this" to all you can eat sushi. at 10:45 pm. ugh. i thought i might die. or barf. neither was anything i wanted to do, and thankfully i avoided both, but i don't plan to do that ever again.
my nails are the prettiest colour right now. it's sally hansen's mint sprint, which is a stupid name, but an adorable colour. i also took the time to do my makeup yesterday [not once but twice - day and night] and i felt really pretty. sometimes some attention to self is necessary.
today josh and i are both off work, which is a rarity these days. my only goal as a couple is to get groceries. other than that, i'm pretty happy to let him play video games all afternoon while i dick around online. we're a super wacky and adventurous couple like that. |
