my weekends are more or less spoken for till next year. literally. till 2010. i love it.
this weekend: i'm going to my parents' for family time, and to have my brother do some work on my car. josh is hosting a friend of his from back home, who now lives within driving distance of toronto. they're going to do boy things, hockey and whatnot.
nov 21: brand new! i'm going with chris, zuber, and the ruiner. this has epic potential. possibly (hopefully) the bedroom will get painted on the 22nd.
nov 27-29: my friend jesse and her fiance josh are coming to spend the weekend. activities include a trip to the rom for the vanity fair portraits exhibit, shopping, and potentially making pulled pork in my slowcooker.
dec 5: medieval times for a friend's birthday. failing that, kegger at a high school friend's loft in the west end. failing that, another friend's birthday celebrations.
dec 12: work christmas party at some swank country club. must find dress.
dec 19: possible christmas party? i'd love to host something, if it's worthwhile. i know that the week before christmas is hella busy for a lot of people, so if no one's going to show up i won't bother. tho with my friends, chances are they'll be sitting around, looking for something to do. so maybe?...
then it's christmas, then new years, then 2010. insane.
okay, apart from an itinerary of my life, here's what's been going on:
michelle bailed on dinner saturday night, which sucked but was understandable. josh and i still had a good night, celebrating dean's birthday with the niagara kids. i really love how welcoming they've all been.
josh and i went to the ontario science centre on sunday, to see body worlds 3. it was brilliant and amazing, as i expected, tho i was slightly disappointed that my favourite specimen from last time was not in the exhibit this time around. oh well, it was fascinating nonetheless.
joshua surprised me by making dinner last night. i arrived home to cajun "oven fried" chicken, and amazingly delicious roasted potatoes. tomorrow night we're planning to make jambalaya for the first time in forever [2+ months?]. i love when we cook together.
i can't wait for new glee tomorrow! |
