we bought our tickets for jays @ sox in may. 2 games, friday night and saturday afternoon. it's pretty real now.
i'm still watching for flights and hotels. we have tons of time so i'm not panicking or anything, i'm just trying to get the best deal.
other than this trip, things here are same old, same old. i've been cooking a lot lately, largely with the help of my slow cooker. few things beat sitting down with my lovey and eating something delicious that i've made myself. i'm absolutely a cliche, and a solid half of my instagram posts are food. guess what, suckers? imma cross-post a bunch of them now.
[homemade french onion soup. josh declared it the best he's ever had, which is the highest praise when you consider how much he loves french onion soup]
[caesars at christmas brunch]
[baked potato soup. in my opinion, possibly the best soup i've ever made]
[burritos! we made a lot of these and froze a bunch. mucho bueno]
[the start of cheesy chicken chili, which led to making the burritos]
[i invented this dish to use up christmas leftovers and break in my new stoneware. it was incredibly good]
