what a fantastic weekend!
friday was a much anticipated fiesta friday. i made pulled pork tacos that were deemed "amazing" and got my drank on for the first time in many months. jesse was here from london, which was fantastic. i love that girl so much. andrew and matt came over as well. much food, more drink. some videos, tho not enough. at one point late in the night, after matt had left, everyone was down to no more than one layer covering their bits. underwear and such. such fun. there may have been a deal made wherein josh paid jesse's parking ticket in order for everyone to watch us make out? juvenile, yes, but also fun.
andrew spent the night, in jess' room. good to know i'm not the only vocal one in this family?
after sleeping in saturday, andrew headed home and jesse, josh and i went shopping all afternoon. i'm so lucky to have a fiancé as wonderful as josh. he tags along, without any complaining, for an afternoon of girlie shopping and gossip. i showed jesse my wedding shoes at a store, and she loves them. they're officially perfect.
last night was chinese food and hgtv. we're really wild. the night got a little more interesting with wine, and "vodka melons", at which point drunk-voice-ange showed up, which was strange given that she'd been absent the night before, despite having a lot more to drink. we drank that and talked shit till we were super sleepy, then it was bedtime for an amazingly solid sleep.
we went to our favourite sushi place for lunch today, and ate more than we should have. yay gluttony. we also toured the beaches a little on the way home, picking out the homes we'd buy if millions of dollars fell into our laps.
jess just left and i miss her already. she's always so fun, but it was truly amazing to have single jesse back. she's so much more fun and obviously happy, without her ex weighing her down. also, the apartment is essentially as clean as it was when she got here, which is more than i can say about its state after a night or two of boy guests.
