josh and i have tickets for harry potter and the deathly hallows part 2 on friday evening. i'm really excited to see it!
apparently justin and his fiancee may be staying with us that night. to be honest, i was sort of looking forward to a night alone with my bee, and undisturbed late sleeping the next morning, but if they need a place to stay, so be it. i don't see things getting too rowdy that night, but then again, one never knows.
saturday i have plans to go get waxed, then maybe head to the jays game, or maybe do whatever other random thing that pops into my head. it's pretty open, and solo, as josh will be working.
sunday, i want to clean the apartment top to bottom, as it desperately needs it, plus we'll be out of town next weekend, and having guests the weekend after that. so yes, sunday will be mega-cleaning day, then we should be able to get away with smaller touch-ups for the next couple of weeks.
i booked a hotel for next weekend, in london. we have a bunch of friends there, but they generally still live at home, or in tiny apartments where 2 extra people aren't really welcome, so we sort of have to stay in a hotel when we visit. it's both a pro and a con. of course it would be cheaper, and easier to be spontaneous if we could just crash with friends as easily as they can stay here. but there's also the fun of feeling like we get a little vacation. we get to have awesome, giant-bed hotel sex, forget about housework and chores for a few days, eat out at my favourite restaurants, things like that.
the weekend after london is going to be amazing. it's the start of my week off, kelly will be here, jesse will visit, the crew will come over for an epic fiesta friday, etc., etc.
man. the only thing i care about are weekends. |
