i'm at my parents' for the weekend. it's so amazing to be able to visit more or less whenever i want. i love it. mom and i went shopping this afternoon, just for groceries and random things. we had a hilarious time in walmart, mocking the various crimes against fashion and good sense they had for sale. i managed to find a set of 420 thread count egyptian cotton sheets [cream coloured], on sale for $25, which was awesome. i needed new sheets, and so often when i'm on a quest for something specific like that, it's impossible to find. not so today, apparently.
we were looking at the doggie coats and boots they had [which, for the record, i find absolutely ridiculous] and joking about how dora would need the boots and sweater of a school-aged child, as nothing made for cutesy little dogs would come close to fitting her. later, my mom took a walk to the second hand store downtown, and came home with a very special children's sweater. bahaha.







my dog is ridiculous.
i love my family.

hahaha, dora is the shit. screw dog clothes when kid's clothes are so much better. and cheaper. reminds me of when i used to dress up my poor dog as a kid.
and 420 thread count sheets for the low low price of $25?! i'd get my ass to wal mart right now to try to find some if i needed them. sadly, i don't at the moment. though it wouldn't hurt to get a set for the future spare room bed whenever it leaves the boy's old room at his parent's place.
