i'm so looking forward to wednesday's phone call with the clinic owner.
part of me is completely paranoid that he's going to call and say the position's been filled, or something else terrible of that magnitude.
but that won't happen, right?
and in the event that it doesn't [and it won't!] i've talked to my boss and arranged for some time off to fly to toronto and check this place out. our radiologist has given me the go-ahead, after calling some people and finding out that all the clinic's inspections check out and the head radiologist is "a good guy".
violet came friday night. she won't connect to the internet. i'm very frustrated, but haven't really had the time/patience to sit down and figure out why. i guess josh and i will continue to share libby for a bit, till i get violet sorted.
last night i ate so much fish! we had the most amazing fish fry and a friend's cabin. josh and 2 other guys went fishing yesterday morning and we feasted on 23 walleye between 12 of us. there wasn't any left. gluttony, ftw!
off i go to clean my bathroom. ugh.

What kind is she? my VAIO was having issues at first (actually I think I had the same issue with my last Windows-based laptop), and I had to uninstall the useless extra internet connection manager software that it came with so Windows could do its thing.

I hope the call turns out to be positive news. No need to be paranoid until the worst hits. That's what I try and tell myself when facing potentially bad news.

I'm sure all will go well. You seem like you'd be grand with interviewing - although i probably shouldn't say that because I'm terrible at it, so anything is probably an improvement. lol. anyway. sure you'll be grand.

I'm glad you found out the head radiologist is a decent guy. that probably makes it a lot better.

Shitty about Violet already acting up. I fuckin hate computers. Probably just need to update a driver or something, depending upon the way your internet is set up.
