i went downtown looking for half a dozen things yesterday, and naturally couldn't get most of them. on the plus side, the one thing that i found was a new sports bra that i LOVE. side note: shopping for sports bras is a workout in and of itself. i used the new bra for my run this morning and it was amazing. no bounce, comfy straps, worth every penny i paid.
i hit some more personal bests on the treadmill today: fastest mile, farthest distance, longest time. i'm not sure if the great runs this weekend have been because i'm actually improving and building endurance, or if running in the morning - instead of after 8 hours on my feet at work - has anything to do with it. i'm guessing it's a little of both. i suppose time will tell, as i'm determined to fit in at least 2 runs after work this week.
shout out to Acid Fairy for suggesting the nike + running app. i wanted something basic, just to record my time and distance, but have been pleasantly surprised at how i'm actually motivated to work out because of it.
i'm feeling really good.
