i'm going to kelly's on friday. FRIDAY! like, the day after tomorrow.
i've been so wrapped up in bloody wedding invitations this week. i had to figure out how to word them, then tried to find the perfect font. i downloaded several fonts, only to have some install perfectly while others weren't cooperative at all. it was extremely frustrating, to say the least. but now i'm happy. the invitations and response cards are printed, and we'll do the ribbons and envelopes tomorrow. also, i need to buy stamps.
ANYWAY, now that that's out of the way, i can fully engage in my excitment about going to michigan. i'm "pre-packing" tonight. which pretty much means i'm trying to get together anything i might need other than clothes (which are being washed tomorrow) so i'm not scrambling around tomorrow night flipping out because i can't find my ipod, or don't have travel size toiletries, or oh my god where's my passport and money and everything i need and i can't find shit fuck it the trip is off. you know what i mean?
i forgot to exchange money last weekend as planned, but my lovely manfriend was sweet enough to go to the currency exchange for me when he was downtown yesterday. i love him so. he takes care of me. |
